Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between warehouses and client locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Assist in route optimization to maximize efficiency and fuel conservation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance
- Basic navigation skills and experience with GPS technology
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
