Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages, documents, and time-sensitive deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and GPS tracking systems for real-time route optimization
- Verify recipient identities and obtain proper signatures for high-value shipments
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company delivery procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickup and drop-off interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and delays
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving or courier experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and maneuver packages in/out of vehicles
- Familiarity with Louisville metro area streets and navigation systems
- Strong time management skills and punctuality for scheduled deliveries
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
