Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of parcels to residential and commercial addresses throughout the Detroit metro area.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and digital signatures using handheld scanning devices.
- Provide exceptional customer service during every interaction, ensuring package integrity and client satisfaction.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean and in safe operating condition.
- Uphold all company policies regarding traffic laws, safety regulations, and uniform standards.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS technology to optimize delivery routes and meet time windows.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable personal vehicle or ability to pass a background check for a company vehicle.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation apps and delivery management software.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
