Job Overview
As a Courier Driver, you will be the face of our brand. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial clients across the Seattle metropolitan area.
Responsibilities
- Deliver packages in a safe, timely, and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Utilize the Swiftly mobile application for route planning, dispatch updates, and digital signatures.
- Interact courteously with customers, ensuring a positive delivery experience.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness.
- Handle package handling with care, ensuring items are not damaged during transit.
- Collect payments or proof of delivery as required by the dispatch instructions.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Current auto insurance and registration.
- Reliable smartphone (Android or iOS) with a data plan.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and ability to navigate urban environments.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
