Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across designated Louisiana routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize GPS technology for optimal route planning and on-time deliveries
- Submit timely paperwork including delivery confirmations and incident reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in varied weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana roadways and DOT regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer literacy for digital logbooks and documentation
- Flexible availability including weekend and early morning shifts
