Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secure, properly stowed, and handled with care.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle any customer inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a current, valid DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required; no major violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to work independently.
