Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to residential and commercial locations in Charlotte and surrounding areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road safety.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues on the spot.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and inventory.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C CDL or equivalent driver's license.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional appearance.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery data.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
