Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight using personal box truck within Southern California region
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and on-time performance
- Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickup and delivery interactions
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling throughout transit
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Reliable late-model box truck (26ft max)
- Smartphone with GPS and data connectivity
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Strong time management and route planning skills
