Responsibilities
- Operate Class A dump trucks safely and efficiently on various construction and excavation job sites.
- Load and unload excavated materials, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical reliability.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery receipts, and daily paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and crew members to coordinate haul routes.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and reporting issues to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker endorsement preferred.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- One year of verifiable commercial driving experience is a plus, but we provide training for qualified candidates.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
