Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy dump trucks and construction equipment on various job sites throughout Riverside and the surrounding region.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload materials (sand, gravel, dirt, etc.) efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs, manifests, and delivery documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site managers regarding route planning and job site requirements.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience driving dump trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy loads and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and traffic regulations.
