Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on dedicated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and problem-solving
- Manage loading/unloading operations and secure cargo properly
- Utilize electronic logging systems and route optimization tools
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and route planning software
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
