Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on dedicated OTR routes across assigned territories
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Build positive relationships with dispatch and delivery teams
- Represent Desert Star Transport with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL (training available for permit holders)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Basic navigation skills (GPS training provided)
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
