Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated routes across the Southeast
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Minimize downtime through efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Represent Prime Logistics with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license or willingness to obtain one through our training program
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside adjustments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule with willingness to be away from home 5-7 days per week
- High school diploma or equivalent required
