Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students on assigned routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of buses
- Maintain student discipline and safety protocols
- Complete daily trip logs and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Adhere to traffic laws and weather-related adjustments
- Assist students with mobility needs
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Minimum 3 years driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Patience and strong communication skills
- Must be 21+ years old
- CDL permit preferred (training provided)
