Responsibilities
- Safely transporting students to and from school and school-sponsored activities.
- Conducting daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Managing student behavior on the bus to maintain a safe environment.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and Department of Transportation regulations.
- Assisting passengers with boarding and exiting the bus.
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and school administrators.
- Keeping the bus clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Clean Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement.
- Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
- Satisfactory background check and driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting baggage and assisting passengers.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
