Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently on local routes
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load/unload materials at construction sites and transfer stations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year dump truck experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends
- Basic knowledge of local Richmond area roads
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
