Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods to designated locations within Wichita and surrounding areas
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and weight restrictions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using mobile tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery issues proactively
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and meet delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year experience)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills and punctuality for night shift assignments (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery apps
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by DOT regulations
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays during peak seasons
