Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver freight on time and within budget.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines and maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and logbooks.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance restrictions.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or eligibility to obtain one (Class A preferred).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong commitment to safety, time management, and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for weight and distance calculations.
