Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages to customers in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the assigned delivery vehicle.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues as they arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Utilize mobile applications for route planning, navigation, and delivery logging.
- Sort and organize packages according to delivery order to optimize efficiency.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using delivery apps and navigation tools.
- Must be comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
