Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages within San Jose city limits during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using GPS tracking systems
- Verify recipient identities and package details for security compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams via mobile apps
- Optimize routes to maximize efficiency while adhering to traffic regulations
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong familiarity with San Jose geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication apps
