Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport at construction sites
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs
- Load/unload materials with precision and adhere to safety protocols
- Navigate diverse terrains and weather conditions in Virginia Beach area
- Coordinate with site supervisors and maintain clear communication
- Perform minor maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to obtain DOT medical certification
- Strong knowledge of dump truck operation and safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor environments
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Local Virginia Beach residency preferred
