Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods between distribution centers and client locations
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining accurate time logs and delivery documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading processes and client interactions
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols at all times
- Optimize routes for efficiency while navigating Southern California traffic and terrain
- Report mechanical issues, accidents, or delivery discrepancies promptly to dispatch
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable experience in commercial driving or route delivery
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for client and team interactions
- Physical ability to load/unift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts
- Knowledge of Southern California roadways and traffic patterns preferred
