Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes in NYC metro area
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and on-time performance
- Document and report any delivery irregularities or safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns and delivery regulations
- Strong knowledge of DOT compliance and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
