Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A dump trucks for material transport on commercial and residential sites
- Conduct daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload construction materials (gravel, asphalt, debris) using proper techniques
- Navigate complex job sites while maintaining strict safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for efficient route planning
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience operating Class A dump trucks
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Strong spatial awareness and depth perception skills
- DOT medical card and current immunization records
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of local Greensboro road networks and job sites
