Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to delivery schedules and DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipments
- Load/unload cargo following safety protocols
- Represent the company professionally with customers at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license (training provided if needed)
- No prior commercial driving experience required
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
