Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods throughout Sacramento County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon request
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service during after-hours delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments at distribution centers
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Reliable personal vehicle or ability to pass company vehicle screening
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with route optimization apps (Google Maps, Waze)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work nights (10 PM - 6 AM) and weekends
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking
