Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in accordance with Amazon's safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Efficiently sort, load, and deliver Amazon packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate route updates via mobile technology
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to strict delivery time windows and performance metrics
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize daily routes and resolve delivery issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills and ability to navigate efficiently using GPS
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by Amazon
- Flexible availability during peak delivery seasons (no nights/weekends required)
- Basic proficiency with smartphone apps and delivery technology
