Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab samples, and critical documents securely and confidentially between medical facilities.
- Adhere strictly to all HIPAA and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations regarding privacy and safety protocols.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Verify and document the receipt of all packages with proper digital signatures.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Utilize our proprietary mobile app for real-time dispatch updates and route navigation.
- Ensure strict compliance with temperature control requirements for perishable medical items.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions accurately.
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and maneuvering packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable smartphone with a data plan (Android or iOS) for route management.
- Must be punctual, professional, and comfortable working independently.
