Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver medical specimens, lab samples, and medical equipment to various healthcare facilities within a designated radius.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and handling procedures for bio-hazardous materials and temperature-sensitive items.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery by following optimized routes and GPS navigation.
- Handle all paperwork, including delivery logs, manifests, and chain-of-custody forms, with 100% accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service to facility staff and medical professionals at pickup and drop-off locations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the courier vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor while representing SwiftMed Logistics.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for accessing delivery software and GPS tracking.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work early morning, evening, and weekend shifts as required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
