Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver medical specimens, lab results, and healthcare supplies to designated facilities in a timely manner.
- Maintain strict compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including DOT and HIPAA.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure the courier vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Handle sensitive materials with the utmost care and absolute confidentiality.
- Update delivery logs and tracking systems accurately and in real-time.
- Adhere to time-sensitive schedules to ensure medical samples reach labs before cutoff times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong punctuality and time-management skills.
- Reliable personal vehicle (or willingness to use company vehicle).
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and reporting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
