Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and documents securely and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Utilize a mobile app to track deliveries and update status in real-time.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and maintain a defensive driving posture at all times.
- Verify all Chain of Custody (COC) forms and ensure proper documentation of deliveries.
- Maintain a professional image while interacting with patients and medical staff.
- Handle packages carefully to prevent damage or contamination.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 5 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Reliable smartphone with data capabilities for navigation and dispatch apps.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
