Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab samples, and equipment safely and securely to designated medical facilities.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery times and locations to ensure compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Inspect and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and temperature-controlled units.
- Adhere to strict safety regulations and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and clients regarding pickup and drop-off instructions.
- Ensure proper handling of biohazard materials and medical waste.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Basic computer skills for GPS navigation and logging.
