Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, documents, and equipment to and from healthcare facilities with strict adherence to delivery windows.
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and log keeping to ensure safety standards.
- Handle temperature-sensitive items, including vaccines and blood samples, using proper insulated containers.
- Navigate complex routes efficiently using GPS and digital mapping tools.
- Interact professionally and courteously with hospital staff and patients.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging deliveries and tracking shipments.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
