Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens and sensitive documents to medical facilities with strict adherence to safety and temperature control protocols.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations to ensure the complete confidentiality of patient information.
- Inspect vehicles daily, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and vehicle readiness.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with hospital staff and patients at delivery points.
- Maintain accurate digital logs of mileage, delivery times, and proof of delivery (POD).
- Follow efficient route planning to maximize delivery windows and minimize delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Reliable smartphone capable of using navigation apps and digital documentation tools.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and biohazard safety is preferred but not required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
