Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver medical specimens, lab results, and pharmaceuticals to hospitals, clinics, and laboratories within a designated zone.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and safety protocols during all deliveries.
- Ensure the temperature and integrity of medical samples are preserved during transit.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure the courier vehicle is road-ready.
- Update delivery logs and tracking systems accurately and in real-time.
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare providers and patients.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically able to lift packages up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries.
- 2-door vehicle preferred (for HIPAA compliance/security).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
