Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab samples, and medical equipment safely and securely to various healthcare facilities within the Baltimore metro area.
- Adhere to strict time-sensitive delivery windows to ensure the integrity of biological samples.
- Maintain a clean, well-maintained, and organized vehicle, ensuring it meets all medical transport safety standards.
- Complete accurate digital logs and delivery receipts for every shipment using our mobile tracking system.
- Interact professionally with hospital staff, lab technicians, and patients to ensure smooth handoffs.
- Inspect packages for damage or temperature irregularities before and after transit.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company driving policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer literacy and smartphone proficiency.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with clients.
