Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to designated routes within the San Jose area.
- Load, secure, and unload packages with care, ensuring order accuracy and proper handling of fragile items.
- Interact professionally with customers, verifying delivery details and obtaining signatures.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Update delivery status in our mobile application in real-time to ensure transparency.
- Handle returns, exceptions, and customer inquiries with a focus on problem-solving.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone applications.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to the warehouse for shift start (if applicable) or ability to start immediately.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
