Responsibilities
- Operate a delivery van to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Detroit metro area.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring items are handled with care.
- Follow designated delivery routes and adhere to time standards to maximize efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by handling package handling with a friendly demeanor.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Amazon's safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- English proficiency in speaking and reading.
- Physical stamina to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for scanning and logging delivery data.
- Reliable access to a vehicle (if not provided by the company).
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
