Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes with minimal overnight stops
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with FMCSA regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch team to ensure on-time deliveries and route optimization
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients at delivery sites
- Utilize telematics systems to monitor vehicle performance and fuel efficiency
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging systems (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong time management skills for efficient route execution
- Flexibility for occasional weekend and holiday shifts
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting common vehicle issues
- High school diploma or equivalent required
