Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between warehouses, distribution centers, and client locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Load/unload shipments using appropriate equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks)
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules while prioritizing safety
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of freight/delivery driving experience
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate warehouse equipment
- Strong knowledge of Corpus Christi roadways and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
