Responsibilities
- Operate heavy dump trucks safely and efficiently on various job sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Secure loads properly to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required by law.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding delivery times and site conditions.
- Conduct routine cleaning and minor maintenance of the truck cab and bed.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience, specifically in dump truck operations.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and operating machinery controls.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and terrains.
