Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently for local/regional deliveries within Phoenix metro area
- Plan and optimize delivery routes using provided GPS systems (remote-friendly scheduling)
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team via mobile app (remote-friendly)
- Manage inventory handling and secure cargo during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Reliable box truck (26ft max) under 10 years old
- Smartphone with data plan for remote communication
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside repairs
- Phoenix metro area residency required
