Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport (gravel, asphalt, demolition debris)
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for efficient routing
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Operate various dump truck configurations (end-dump, side-dump, belly-dump)
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years verifiable dump truck experience
- Clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in past 5 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional weekends
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
