Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers for dedicated regional routes with consistent weekly schedules
- Ensure safe and efficient delivery of freight while maintaining strict DOT compliance
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and accurately document vehicle maintenance
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) to maximize on-time performance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all company safety policies and industry regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience with dedicated route background preferred
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication standards
