Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A dump trucks for material transport on construction sites
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload construction materials with precision using hydraulic systems
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and local traffic ordinances
- Coordinate with site supervisors and project teams for timely deliveries
- Maintain clean equipment and report maintenance needs promptly
- Implement safety protocols in all weather and site conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- 3+ years of dump truck operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Washington, DC construction zones and traffic patterns
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and load securement
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for heavy equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
