Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and hauling equipment for construction sites, landfills, and material transport
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload materials efficiently at job sites and transfer stations
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for timely deliveries and route optimization
- Perform basic maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain clean vehicles and secure loads during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting common vehicle issues
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening and background check
