Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26ft) for local/regional deliveries in Portland metro area
- Manage route optimization and timely delivery of commercial freight
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation (DOT compliant)
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time adjustments
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Build client relationships through professional service delivery
- Utilize provided telematics for efficiency tracking
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M+ coverage)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Portland metro roadways
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
