Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks to deliver freight to designated stops in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records in strict compliance with federal hours-of-service rules.
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery, handling complaints professionally and resolving issues on-site.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of Georgia roadways and logistics routes.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as required.
