Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks and commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper documentation of goods.
- Maintain accurate records using ELDs, logs, and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Must own a reliable Class C Box Truck (or larger) in good working condition.
- Valid CDL (Class A or Class C) and current Medical Card.
- Current DOT compliant insurance and authority.
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
