Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to deliver freight to designated routes and customer locations on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and handling of freight without damage.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (eLog, BOL, Delivery Receipts) in compliance with company policies.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies to maintain a perfect safety record.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and fleet maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License (required).
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUIs or major moving violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic math skills for making change and handling paperwork.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented mindset.
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to safety.
